Living with Trypophobia

Do those images bother you? That stuff makes my skin crawl. I went years and years of my life before a conversation about a desert came up between my sister and me when we both discovered we weren’t alone in this strange disturbance. I can’t explain it, but I find pictures like these absolutely disgusting.

Does this bullshit bother me on a daily basis? No. Once a month do I notice a bunch of ice in the bottom of the sink or a cooler and then it throws me off for the next hour? Absolutely.

Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps.

Idk how rare this weird condition is, but if you are fortunate enough to have a normal human brain, then congratulations. I took some satisfaction in at least knowing it is defined on wikipedia. The other week I sent a similar photo of ice in a sink to my sister and she responded with a dog made of crayons that she had recently come across.

Absolutely sick.
