Here’s What I Think of Every Time Someone ‘Opts Out’ of Playing Sports

And every time I read a headline like that this is what I think of:

Every single time. The words “opt out” are permanently associated with this scene from Atlanta for me. Probably one of the simplest, dumbest, but funniest scenes from the show.

Not only has this screwed up the phrase “opt out” for me. It’s also made me second guess every time I walk through the TSA scanner. He makes a terrific point about the proximity between security and the food courts. I’m guessing the only person on earth who knows how that machine works and the long-term effects it causes is the guy who invented it.
